Starz “Black Mafia Family” Season 2 is currently airing and this season is already one of the best for sure!
There wouldn’t be success without drama behind the scenes and BMF just caught it’s first real critic of the season.
Tonesa Welch who is allegedly behind the character of Markisha had a few words about her portrayal.
She shared:

“WTF who wrote this part of the Story.Terri 17 I’m 26 years my Husband a king pen but I’m having s*x with a 17 year old who’s supposedly still in high school. So before Terri goes on the run he comes to my job, its close for the day we sneak in the janitors room and have S*x. I guess he’s to young to have an apartment he’s still in high school or lives with his parents. I guess they have Markisha looking like a pedophile if This was reverse and Markisha was 17 years old y’all be trying to put him in jail. Why are they portraying this role like this. Omg RandyHuggins this is sad. I never kiss this man until he was i25 years old. This is crazy 🤦🏾🗣 This is what happens when you hire the wrong representative. Please no more DM’s don’t ask me why I can’t explain it. But half y’all believe this sick shtt. Markisha character is shown in bad likeness I don’t agree with the timeline or the character traits. This show pretends it’s not me but everybody in Detroit or half the country know it’s me. Who else work at the insurance company? 🤦🏾🤦🏾”
She honestly has every right to be upset. We thought the storyline was very distasteful but after finding out that it’s possibly a fake one even more distasteful.
What are your thoughts?
Season two of STARZ’s scripted drama series “BMF” debuted in January. It is rooted in family, loyalty, and brotherhood, and explores the brothers’ complex relationships both with their parents and each other as they fight to expand their narcotics business and continue their pursuit of the American dream.
“BMF” is based on the true-life story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, two brothers from Detroit who created the largest domestic drug distribution network in American history and ran it for an unprecedented 22 years. “BMF” is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (co-creator of the “Power” Universe, “For Life”), alongside showrunner, executive producer, writer and Detroit native Randy Huggins (“Star,” “Rebel,” “Power”). Heather Zuhlke, Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements also serve as executive producers on the series. “BMF” is produced through Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for STARZ.
